The Unity mattress is well specified with a combination of body-contouring pocket springs, Ecofoam encapsulation and a 3cm layer of memory foam. Fully upholstered in a soft to touch stretch knit fabric, the cover benefits from a zip around the underside that allows it to be removed for washing. The memory foam layer is temperature sensitive and designed to soften when it comes into contact with warm surfaces, moulding itself to your contours. The mattress interior is made up of small diameter pocket springs with each one housed in its own cloth sleeve and free of surrounding springs. The springs move freely so the load on one is not affected by any neighbouring springs, providing piston-like support to each part of the body. Ecofoam is a unique material made from 100 recycled and re-engineered foam, resulting in a much greener product with a reduced carbon footprint. It39;s durable and dust mite resilient and paired with reflex foam, it creates the prefect sleeping surface for allergy sufferers or asthmatics. From an ecological perspective, the long-term benefit of an Ecofoam mattress is when it comes to the end of its natural life, it can be entirely recycled. Delivered vacuum packed, its ideal for bedrooms with limited access or a loft conversion and will fill out to its full size within a couple of hours.
